Ways To Connect

Small Groups/Bible Studies

Small groups and Bible studies are the core of our church. Within these groups, you can explore your faith and build relationships with others.

Community of learning stlukesbcs

Some of our existing small groups include:

• Women’s “Precepts” study

• Men’s breakfast group

• Prayer Partners and Covenant Groups (small groups of two to four people)

• Monday Women’s Bible Study

• Disciple Bible Study

• Evening Men’s “Ironmen” Group

We are continually creating new small groups, and a complete schedule of available studies can be found both on the church calendar or by contacting the church office.

Prayer Groups

Our prayer team meets weekly to pray for families and individuals in need. In addition, we encourage members to get involved in a prayer partnership or covenant group in order to pray for each other, those in the community and the church.

Missions & Outreach

St. Luke’s is committed to the practice of putting our faith into action. Some of our current missions and outreach projects include:

• Brazos Church Pantry

• P.E.T. Workshop

• S.H.I.N.E.

• Mary Branch Elementary

Social Events

The church hosts several events every year for families, kids or individuals to join together for fellowship, including Trunk or Treat on Halloween, an Easter Eggstravaganza, summer Vacation Bible School, our annual 42 Tournament and Chili Cookoff, and movie nights throughout the year.

Leadership

One of the unique things about St. Luke’s is that we want our members to be invested in the future of the church. This is why we have adult members of all ages involved in every aspect of the church, including the church council, finance committee, and trustees. Terms are generally two or three years in length.

To take advantage of any of these opportunities, or for more information, contact the church office.
